QPAC Concert Hall

It is our absolute pleasure to be Ensemble in Residence at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre Concert Hall - QPAC.

The QPAC Concert Hall is one of Australia's most spectacular concert venues. The magnificent architecture and acoustics work to deliver a truly memorable performance to each of the 1,600 seats front of stage.

Although primarily designed for orchestral performances, the Concert Hall displays a versatility that adapts to a range of events including popular music, jazz, stand-up comedy, graduation ceremonies and award presentations. Towering above the stage, the magnificent Klais Grand Organ, with its impressive array of 6,500 pipes, forms the central architectural focus of the space.

All Southern Cross Soloists Showcase Concerts take place in the main concert hall in 'reverse mode' setup. With SCS facing the choir balcony and extra seats flowing down to the stage, we have created a more intimate concert experience which insures not only a superb view but also unparalleled acoustic pleasure.

Visit the QPAC website HERE for more information - will open in a new web page.
